 New bows I made!  How cute are they?? I'm really excited to keep making them!!  Got new fabric the other day!!  I JUST WANT TO MAKE THEM EVERYDAY!!

Made some re-hashes on the current bows I have for sale and made a couple new listings.  I'm hoping my bows will sell soon!  I'm excited to keep making them, but I'm also debating whether I'm just wasting money on stuff no one is going to buy.  It's only been a week, and I'm already slightly discouraged.  I do have hopes that someone will love them :)  I have a few more girls at work that want to buy them, so I'll keep on making them, for sure!  Here's a link to my new listings!!

Does anyone other than me sing the random shit they're doing when they're home alone?  I've been spending more time home alone recently while my roommate and I are working pretty much opposite schedules and boyfriend's been busy.  Me and my bottle(s) of wine are just hangin' out, being friends, and then I get this bug like, I need to sing.  Everything. 

Anyway, let's leave crazy town for a second and talk about some real shit.  I've been really workin on these bows lately, finally posting on Etsy and being all sweet and stuff, and todayyyy I went and got some new materials.

I'm very excited to announce that my Etsy shop has officially opened! I've not much to say, as I'm really very exhausted, but, stop on in and maybe pick yourself up something nice, or maybe even for a friend!

Mistakes. And FIXES!

I made a mistake on my business card and I had to have it fixed.  Silly me.  But I ordered them yesterday after my credit went through (how nice of Vista Print to give me a credit for my own mistake! And so swiftly!)  So far, I'm very happy with their service, and I can't wait til my cards come in, I know they're gonna be great.

Good news!!  I brought some samples of my bows to work yesterday,  and sold them to 3 different people!  AND I got orders for more!  I'm really really excited, and can't wait to get everything photographed so I can make more! 

Currently, I'm working on picking out new embellishments for some of them, and cleaning up some of the duds.  They're good quality, but they're just not perfect.  I think with a little adjustment and some cleaning, they'll be perfect.  I can't wait to start making more.  I've found lots of good fabric to play with, and I'm going to get some more tonight I think.  I've kept a pretty good log of expenses so far, and I feel like my pricing is very fair.  I'm hoping that when I start selling more on my Etsy Shop I'll be able to expand to more than just clips.  I've already got lots of ideas for headbands and ways to work in all the polymer clay progress I've made. 

I'm hoping that this becomes something real, you know?  I think I could really do something with this.  I would love to start up a charity fund of some variety, other than just my own education fund!!  :)

 Today, specifically, I'm working on something for my swap group, and I'll give a little sneak preview. 

Coffee is most certainly essential to the completion of this project.

Almost Official

I'm so impatient, it seems.  I ordered something on the 4th of this month, and it said it'd take two weeks to print and ship, and I've checked it every day since ordering, and it still says "In Progress," and I'm mad.  Haha.  I'm so used to the wonderful people at Amazon who send the crap I buy in like two days.  I should remind myself that not only did I order a product, but a service as well.  It takes TIME for things like services.  Le sigh
 Well, here it is.  I was going to wait and take a picture of the actual card, but, I'm far too excited about it to wait.

Isn't it wonderful!!  I love it, it's so something I'd make myself if I had any like, drawing/painting skills.  There's all this fun stuff I can get too, to like, perpetuate the look.  I might look into some of that later on, but, not now.
