AAAH! Crafting for this swap is going MUCH smoother than I imagined! I'm spending this weekend finishing Things 1 and 2, (the repeats, that is.) I made "prototypes" of the ones I'm working on now, and I'm really loving the design changes. I'll post pics soon, of course :)
Knitting Thing is ... failing. haha. It's really the only thing that has to do with robots, too! Aaah! Well, not the ONLY thing, but one of the, like, maybe 3? I'm not really following the theme as much as finding lovely snacks.
Work has been.... horrible. Schedule change, crap manager crap, more crap... It's bad. But, after one harrowing week, I'm feeling better, and really, I'm spending time on myself and treating myself rather than worrying about anything else. A combination of struggling and frustration has gotten me down, but I'm not going to let it keep me down. I did eat an entire bag of Oreos and a giant peanut butter cup from For the Love of Chocolate (AWESOME PLACE) but otherwise, pretty non-detrimental. I've not worked out once this week, I've been too tired. :( But, I'll get back into it. I've been thinking about a new schedule to fit it all in and it will be good.
I had my first lady-date and it was very much fun! I'm not one to make lady friends, but I've found one and we had a lunch date and went shopping! That is SO unlike me, you have no idea! I'm such a man when it comes to shopping! I go in, get what I want, and leave. No dallying around, no real browsing unless I'm internet shopping, but man... it was fun! I spent more money than I thought, but I'm kind of okay with that. It's all about indulgence today!
Anyway, that lead to creating inspiration... and it's been good since. I'm finally at ease, and relaxed. It feels good. I'm going to work on keeping it this way, going back to my more relaxed way of dealing with things. I've been way high-strung lately, and I'm ready for that to be over. Creative juices don't flow so good when my brain is clogged like that. I'm going to take advantage of it while I can!
